The hot spring water in all baths is drained and cleaned at least every 24 hours, and the baths are disinfected daily with hypochlorous acid. By draining the hot water through the drain plugs, we remove sediment-prone yunohana, ensuring the baths are consistently replenished with fresh hot spring water. Cleaning begins daily at 9:30 am and lasts three hours.
